The new Snagshout

What changed?
Snagshout moved to a new, faster site. Your account, your wallet balance and your last 5 years of orders came with you. Same web address, same login.
I can't log in.
Use the email you used on the old Snagshout. If your password doesn't work, or you used to log in with Facebook, use Forgot password to set a new one. Your balance and history are still there.
Where are my old orders and cash-outs?
Your orders from the last 5 years are under My Orders. Cash-outs the old site sent are listed in your Wallet under “Cash-outs on the old Snagshout”, and they're included in Total Paid Out.
How do I change my account email?
Go to Settings → Email and enter your password. We email a link to your current address; open it and press Approve. You're then signed out everywhere and sign in with the new email. Shoppers can't cash out for 72 hours after the email changes. If you can't get email at your current address any more, tap Message support.

Finding and snagging deals

How do I find deals?
Go to Deals. You can search by product name and sort by Newest, Ending Soon or Most Popular. New deals are added all the time, so check back often.
How do I snag a deal?
Open a deal and press Snag. What happens next depends on the deal:
  • Coupon deals show you a code to use at checkout on Amazon. That's it. The discount is the deal.
  • Rebate (cash back) deals give you a button to the product on the deal's store (usually Amazon). Buy it there at the normal price, send us that store's order confirmation, and we pay you the cash back.
There's no button to buy the product, or I bought it on the wrong store.
Don't buy it somewhere else. The receipt has to be from the store on the deal, for the item on the deal, or we can't pay the cash back. If the deal shows no button, message support from your order page and we'll help you find the right listing.
Sometimes the button opens an Amazon search, not the product.
That's on purpose for some deals. Find the exact product shown on the deal page in the search results and buy that one.
How many deals can I snag?
Between 5 and 10 deals in any 24 hours (most shoppers start at 5). The counter on the Deals and My Orders pages shows how many you have left and when the next one frees up. You can snag each deal once. If your snag expired before you sent a receipt, you can snag that deal again while it still has spots. There's no weekly limit.
Is it only Amazon?
Most deals are for a product on Amazon. Some are on another store, like Walmart or Temu: the deal page says which. Buy from that store, the way you normally would. Snagshout isn't connected to your store accounts.
Do I have to write a review?
Not for Amazon products. Amazon reviews are never required or rewarded. On deals with a survey, the last page of the survey asks "Were you able to leave a review?" Answer it with Yes (you can add your Amazon reviewer name) or No (tell us why in a few words). Either answer is fine, and No never affects your cash back. Some cash back deals for products sold on other stores ask for an honest review, and the deal says so before you snag it. Some deals include a short survey or photo for the brand, which stays between you and them.
Can I get cash back on the same product twice?
No. You can get cash back once per product, ever, even through a different deal, and that includes orders on the old site. The site won't let you snag a product you already got cash back for. Coupon deals don't count.

Buying and sending your receipt

How do I send my receipt?
After you buy, forward the store's order confirmation email (Amazon, Walmart or the store on the deal) to the address shown on your order. It looks like rebates+…@in.snagshout.com and is unique to that order, so we match it automatically. Forward it as soon as you've ordered. The order page shows a countdown.
Forwarding isn't working.
Open the order and upload a screenshot of your order from the deal's store instead (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10MB). Add the store's order number in the notes box. It counts as your receipt right away; we check it and the brand reviews the order as usual.
The deal asks for a survey, photo or video.
Some deals have an extra step for the brand. You'll see it on the order page. Complete it there. Your cash back is approved after both the receipt and the step are done.
When do I have to finish the extra step?
The order page shows the date (“Finish steps by”). It's the deal's own date or 30 days after your receipt came in, whichever is later. We email reminders before it, and a last warning when it passes. If the step still isn't done 7 days after the date, the order can be closed without cash back.
What if I miss the step's due date?
When the date passes, we email you a last warning. You then have 7 more days to finish the step on your order page; it still works after the deal has ended. If it still isn't done, our team can close the order without cash back, and a closed order can't be reopened. If something stops you from finishing it (for example the survey won't open), message support from the order page before then.
A deal I snagged expired.
Each order gives you a set time to buy and send your receipt. If it passes with nothing sent, the order expires and the spot goes to someone else. Expired orders are never reopened. If the deal still has spots, snag it again: snag first, then buy, and send the new receipt right away. If you sent your receipt before the order expired, message support from the order.
I returned the product.
Open the order and use “Report a problem” → “I returned this item”. The order closes as Returned and no cash back is paid. If you keep the product, finish the deal's steps so the cash back can be approved.

Getting paid

When do I get my cash back?
After you send your receipt (and finish any extra step), the brand reviews the order. Your order page shows the date for your order.
  • Brand approves: the cash back moves from Pending to Available in your Wallet. It's never paid sooner than 14 days after you snag, even if the brand approves early. This leaves time for cancellations and returns to show up.
  • Brand doesn't review it: it's approved automatically 35 days after your receipt and step are in.
  • We're checking it (for example the brand raised a question): there's no date until it's decided. We'll update the order.
How do I cash out?
Press Cash Out in your Wallet and choose:
  • Card: no fee, $5 minimum. We email you a link where you choose a Virtual Visa, an Amazon gift card or one of 600+ other gift cards.
  • PayPal: 5% fee, $30 minimum. We email you a link to claim it to your PayPal account.

Each cash-out is up to $500, and up to $500 in any 24 hours; the rest stays in your Wallet for later. Over $200, we text you a code first.

Is there a limit on cash-outs?
Yes. Up to $500 per cash-out and $500 in any 24 hours. The oldest approved cash back goes first and the rest stays in your Wallet, which shows how much you can cash out now and when more frees up. Any cash-out over $200 needs a fresh text code to your phone. Cash-outs are sent through our partner Tremendous to your account email only; we can’t send them to another address. There is no bank transfer, Zelle or Venmo.
Why do I need to verify my phone?
To cash out, we text a one-time code to your mobile number. It stops bots and duplicate accounts. We may ask you to check it again from time to time. VoIP and landline numbers aren't accepted.
How do I change my phone number?
Go to Settings → Phone → Change number. We email a link to your account email first; open it while signed in and press Continue, then enter the new number and the code we text to it. After a change, cash-out is closed for 72 hours.
My cash-out says Queued.
It will go out automatically. Nothing is lost, and you don't need to request it again. Check your email (and spam folder) for the link.
Does cash back expire?
Under our Terms, cash back left in the wallet for 12 months after it became available expires and can’t be reinstated. We recommend cashing out once you reach the minimum.
A brand questioned my order.
Brands can't reject your cash back on their own: our support team decides. If the brand says the order was cancelled, refunded or returned, we ask you for a screenshot of the order in your account on the store (the order number and “Delivered”), and you have 14 days to send it. If we need a clearer receipt or photo, we'll tell you exactly what to fix and you'll have 7 days to send it.

Staying safe

Is Snagshout hiring? Someone offered me a Snagshout job.
No. Snagshout does not offer jobs, paid tasks or an employee login, and we never ask you to pay or send crypto. Sites like snagshout-us.me, snagshout-us.xyz, snagshout-us.net, snagshout-us.cc, snagshout-us.com and snugshout.com are fake. See our scam warning.

For brands

How do brands use Snagshout?
Brands run deals on their products: a coupon code, or cash back that shoppers get after they buy and send their receipt. You create a brand account, add your product, set the deal, and publish it. See Snagshout for brands.
What plans and fees are there?
Four plans:
  • Pay As You Go: no monthly fee. No monthly fee — pay per redemption.
  • Starter: $99/month. Free coupon snags, discounted action fees.
  • Pro: $199/month. For brands running campaigns every month.
  • Elite: $299/month. Lowest fees for high-volume sellers.

Each cash back redemption costs the cash back you fund, plus a 5% card fee on it, plus your plan’s fee per redemption. The full fee table and a calculator are on Pricing. Paid plans from the old site keep their old pricing.

How do I cancel my plan or turn off renewal?
In Billing, press Cancel subscription on the Pay As You Go card. Your plan won't renew: you keep it, and its fees, until the end of the period you paid for, then you move to Pay As You Go. Changed your mind? Press Keep my plan in Billing before that date and it renews as before. Nothing is charged when you cancel or keep it.
How does billing work?
Each day, a live deal places a card hold for the snags we expect. The next day we charge for the snags that really happened and release the rest: one charge per deal per day. A pending amount that went away was a hold that was released. The plan fee is a separate charge at the start of each plan period. Monthly statements are under Billing → Statements; Download CSV there gets every month in one file.
My payment failed and my deals paused.
When a card charge fails, your live deals pause and we email you. Update the payment method in Billing, then resume the deals.
How do I pause a deal?
Dashboard → Campaigns → open the deal → Pause. Resume starts it again. While it is paused nobody can snag it; orders already snagged carry on and you still review them. Out of stock? Pause it now.
How do I approve or dispute an order?
Open the order and approve it, or raise a question (a dispute). You can't reject an order on your own: our team decides disputed orders. If you say an order was cancelled, refunded or returned, send a screenshot from your seller account showing the order number and the refund or cancellation. A new Amazon order can show “Pending” in Seller Central for several days: that is not a reason to dispute. If payment still isn't clear 20 or more days after the order, dispute it as “Order was cancelled or refunded” with a Seller Central screenshot of the order ID and its status. A returned order: dispute it as “Product was returned” with a screenshot. Orders you don't review are approved automatically after 35 days.
What happens when a shopper doesn't finish the step?
We remind the shopper before the step's due date and warn them when it passes, and you get a notice that the step is overdue. If it still isn't done 7 days after the due date, our team closes the order: no cash back is paid, and the snag's cost comes back to you as credit on the deal (not for orders from the old Snagshout, which were charged there). You don't need to dispute these orders.
How do I run an old deal again?
Open the old campaign and press Relaunch. The builder opens filled in; nothing goes live until you press Publish.
How far back can I see orders and statements?
Your dashboard shows the last 3 years of orders, order chats, statements, charges and totals. Orders that finished more than 12 months ago, and statements and charges from more than 12 months ago, show as Final: the amounts stay, but those orders no longer show how they ended, and their order chats are closed.
I think a charge is wrong.
Tap Message support with the date and amount and our team will check it. Under our Terms, a refund, credit or overcharge claim must reach us in writing within 6 months of the charge. After that the charge is final, and anything marked Final is closed.
Can my deal ask for a review?
Amazon reviews are never required or rewarded. You may ask for an optional, honest review. A deal for a product sold on another store may ask for an honest review, and it must say so before the shopper snags it. A deal can't require a positive review or tie cash back to the rating. Want to know who left a review? Run a survey deal: its last page asks shoppers if they were able to leave a review (Yes or No; either answer is fine), and you see their answer once the order's cash back is approved.
Can I snag deals with my brand account?
No. Brand accounts can't snag deals.
